Crime ran rampant as bootleggers tried to outdo one another, and organized crime was a constant nuisance. Where oh where can a Doll and her Dapper go to get a drink in this darn town???

The Ute Theater poses as an average, non-descript movie theatre by day and early evening, but once the last flick has finished, it becomes a decadent house of bathtub gin and "barley pop". Flappers galore storm the dance floor, and the Dandies just look on, keeping a close eye on the doors.
